Bala Cottage Holidays provides a beautiful holiday cottage in Bala, we are a family-run business and pride ourselves on our properties being “homes away from home”. The cottage is carefully restored into comfy, self-catering holiday cottages. Whatever the weather, you’ll find something to enjoy.
Our Bala Cottage Holiday house is surrounded by wonderful Welsh countryside and woodland, is adjacent to the stunning River Dee – where the grayling fishing is renowned – and the Berwyn Mountains; when staying with us, you have access to the 2,500 acres of private land belonging to Crogen Estate. North Wales and Snowdonia Holiday Cottages
We are a very short drive away from the market town of Bala (hence our name!) – which is well known for the variety of watersports available on Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake). Both Dolgadfa and Llanerch cottages are perfect bases to take full advantage of everything Bala has to offer. International and national events are held by Canoe Federations: the National Whitewater Centre has its home in Bala and canoeists from many parts of the world come to practice and compete. Bala Cottage Holidays are perfectly set up for anyone either taking part in events – or simply coming to watch!
The local pub is less than a mile away, or there is a Michelin-starred restaurant within 2 miles. We have log fires and wood burners, gardens and views, space and yet privacy. We are perfect for parties, and ideal for families. You can enjoy long, lazy days around the cottages, or fantastic day trips visiting castles or the coast; you can stroll gently around Bala Lake or challenge yourself hiking in Snowdonia; you can relax by the River or whip up the adrenaline by white water rafting.
