Walks in Snowdonia, there are many ways to climb the highest mountain in Wales, from the not so able (a train right to the top! and back again) to the hearty with Crib Coch being the most challenging route up Snowdon. The Watkin Williams Wynne Path is a longer less trodden route, but well worth it as you get away from the maddening crowds! But if time is of the essence then the best route is

Though not in Snowdonia we are also on the doorstep of the Berwyn Mountain range, again a quite untouched mountain range, where it is rare to meet anyone, you can start from the car park in Llandrillo and do a circular walk to the summit and back down the windy single track lane to the village. We have done this walk numerous times so can help with the route, timings etc!
