Family Days Out

Family Days out in North Wales, well where do we start, there are so many wonderful things to do near here at Bala Cottage Holidays, from days at the seaside, great gardens, white water rafting, horse riding, high ropes, paint balling, cycle rides and cycles to hire, fishing, walking, good places to eat, the list goes on!

Whatever the weather there will be something for everyone, Bala is perfectly placed for numerous days out, as long as you have a car and the willingness to explore there are many places that are not too far away.

As a bonus we do have one of the highest rope walking courses in Wales here in the upper Dee Valley just on the opposite side of the River from Dolgadfa and below Llanerch, Get Wet the company who run it also do paint balling and rafting on the River Dee.

We also offer fly fishing here on the River Dee, just below Dolgadfa, as well as a mountain lake up above Llanerch which is stocked full of brown trout, a perfect place to take your family for a picnic and a spot of fishing.
